Rewriting the syllabus
of the student movement
The syllabus we inherited was written for us, not by us. This year the summit is built around the work your chapter actually has to do, and everything you draft in the room goes home with you.
Not just a conference.
A certification course.
Most student leadership events send you home with notes you never open. This one is run as a course: you do the work in the room, you finish the requirements, and you leave certified.
Sessions are built around drafting, deciding, and pressure-testing alongside board members from other schools who are solving the same problems you are.
A written plan for your chapter's year
Drafted on the spot in a hands-on workshop, not handed to you as a template.
A bank of events you can actually run
Themed programming built and stress-tested by boards across the city.
Forty-plus clubs on speed dial
The people you co-host with, borrow from, and call when something goes sideways.
This course is for board members and movement workers only
Send your whole board if you can. The workshops are designed to be done as a team, and groups leave with a plan they all signed off on.
College MSA boards
Presidents, VPs, and committee heads running programming for a whole campus body.
High school MSA boards
Students starting or reviving an MSA, often with no advisor and no budget.
SJP chapters
Organizers carrying campaign work alongside coursework, on campuses under pressure.

to earn your certification.
Finish the requirements across both days and you leave with a certification from the MAS Youth Center, something real for a résumé, a scholarship application, or your club's case to its administration.
The internship & opportunity booth
Organizations across advocacy, law, media, and community work table on Saturday and present openings directly to student leaders. Bring a résumé.
130 club leaders. 40 schools. One room.
Two steps and you're in
Grab your ticket and you're on the list. Registration closes when seats run out. Last year it filled early.
One ticket per student. Pay online and your seat is held straight away.
We'll send the full schedule, what to bring, and directions before Nov 13.

The course is built for current board members and incoming leadership. If you're not on a board yet but you're the one doing the work, register and tell us your role on the form.
No, certification requires both days. Saturday builds directly on Friday's work.
It's built around the NYC club network, but chapters from outside the city are welcome. Reach out if you need help with travel or overnight logistics.
Something to write with, your club's calendar and budget if you have one, and a résumé for the internship booth. Everything else is provided.
